Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 2 cups of water
  • Honey or sugar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil 2 cups of water.
  2. Once the water has come to a boil, add 1 tablespoon of dried butterfly pea flowers to the water.
  3. Turn off the heat and let the flowers steep in the water for 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you want your tea to be.
  4. Strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth, and discard the flowers.
  5. If you want to sweeten your tea, add honey or sugar to taste.
  6. Serve the tea hot, or let it cool to room temperature and then chill it in the refrigerator for a refreshing iced tea.

Note: Butterfly pea tea can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also experiment with adding other flavors to the tea, such as lemon juice or mint leaves. Enjoy your refreshing butterfly pea tea!
